The Marshall Liberal Government is committed to ensuring that residents will not have to pay for the cost associated with fixing this long-standing issue. Works are scheduled to commence early in 2021 and due to the scale of works required, there will be a staged approach taken over several years.

Once transitioned, households will benefit from a reliable sewer service that meets or exceeds all relevant public health and other regulatory requirements, whilst saving up to $400 per year on sewerage bills.
