The Marshall Liberal Government is delivering on our election promise to deliver lower costs for South Australian households and businesses, with an average household set to save around $200 per year on their combined water and sewerage bills, and the average business set to save around $1,350.
Following the 2018 election, the Marshall Liberal Government established the Independent Pricing Inquiry into SA Water, which found that the former government rorted the value of SA Water, which resulted in the average household water bill increasing by more than $500.
From 1 July 2020, the previous government’s rort will finally come to an end, and South Australian households and businesses will save a combined $186 million on water and sewerage bills over the next four years. Find out how much you'll save by visiting the SA Water calculator.
The Marshall Liberal Government promised lower costs and that is exactly what we’re delivering.
