New Courts on Their Way!

Nearly three years ago I promised that a Marshall Liberal Government would contribute $345,000 for six new tennis and netball courts at the Tea Tree Gully Sports Hub in Banksia Park. Shortly after my election in 2018, I was thrilled to deliver a $350,000 cheque to the City of Tea Tree Gully with the Minister for Recreation and Sport, the Hon Corey Wingard MP.

I'm even more thrilled now that construction work has started on the new courts and is expected to be completed by the end of September this year.

The new courts, which will be available for public use outside of club commitments, will particularly benefit the Tea Tree Gully Tennis Club, the Tea Tree Gully Netball Club, and the Banksia Park Netball Club, providing increasing capacity for some of our very successful local clubs. It was a pleasure to work with the clubs to get this project on the agenda, I know that they're excited for the new courts and I can't wait see them in action soon!
