The Marshall Liberal Government is committed to delivering a plastic free future for our precious environment.
As part of recently passed legislation, plastic straws, drink stirrers and cutlery will be banned but we are keen to go further. As the legislation unfolds, we are targeting other single use plastic items for banning, such as plastic lined coffee cups, takeaway food containers and cotton buds.
As part of a suite of electoral reforms, the Marshall Liberal Government has also proposed the banning of election posters. These posters are detrimental to the environment and can be a distraction to motorists. There are differing views in Parliament over the banning of election posters, so I'm keen to hear your thoughts. Do you believe in the banning of election posters? Have your say below.
